Splash profits surge to P160M in 2015
SPLASH CORP. posted a 13-fold jump in bottomline last year on the back of higher sales and marginal increase in costs.
The homegrown personal care manufacturer recorded a net income of P160 million last year, significantly higher than the P12 million seen in the prior year.
Sales improved 8% year on year to P3.78 billion from P3.49 billion driven by the double-digit growth in its Philippine and international operations. Splash cited the strong sales of personal care products, such as SkinWhite and MaxiPeel, which lifted Philippine sales by 12% and international sales by 13%.
