Villar puts Davao township on hold
Bilyonaryo Manuel Villar is putting on hold a Camella Davao township project until the local government finalizes plans for a bypass highway that will traverse the property, the BusinessWorld reported.
Vista Land plans to develop a 170-hectare property in Toril into a mixed-use project, which will be traversed by a major road infrastructure.
The Regional Development Council has included the proposed 43.58-kilometer circumferential road project that will span from Toril District to Panabo City, Davao del Norte in its 2017 project, prompting Camella Davao to hold off any development at this point.
The company said the new access road will definitely make the township a prime property.
The company will be launching multiple housing brands from the high-end to the low-cost units. The development will also include a commercial area, a school and church.
