Sun Life aims 3.5M more customers by 2020
Sun Life of Canada (Philippines) Inc. is targeting an expansion in terms of client base to the five million mark by the end of 2020, with a notable leap from its current 1.5 million customers.
For Bilyonarya and Sun Life Financial Philippines President Riza Mantaring, 2016 is a year of goal setting.
Aside from the customer expansion, the country’s leader in terms of total premium income is aggressively looking for investment opportunities, mainly in the infrastructure industry, The Philippine Star reports.
Mantaring is confident the company will be able to realize and achieve its 2020 goal given the aggressive expansion of its branches and well as the company’s continuous leap to the digital and technological age.
Recently, they have launched innovative programs such as bancassurance and mobile technology which is backed up by top of the class technology.
Partnerships and collaborations are also continuing to grow to, Mantaring said.
“Like our recent cooperation with 8990 Holdings Inc. and Voyager Innovations, which broadens our markets,” Mantaring said in a briefing yesterday.
Sun Life has also partnered with the said property developer. To date, their collaboration resulted to a unit or tenant base to Sun Life.
It has an estimated tenant base of at least 21,000 nationwide. It is also moving to the high-rise segment by building 39 condominiums in two Metro Manila township projects.
