Apple’s $900 million data center is getting fast-tracked
Apple has succeeded in getting a legal dispute for a proposed $939 million (€850 million) data center fast tracked through Irish courts.
Apple’s west Ireland data center was facing an 18 month delay after two Irish residents — Allan Daly and Sinead Fitzpatrick — appealed against a local planning body who gave the development the green light in August.
Apple asked the High Court at the start of November to fast-track the legal challenge brought about by the three individuals.
