Katrina Razon is on target with her throwback Halloween costume
While most millennial went for Stranger Thing’s “Eleven” and Suicide Squad’s “Harley Quinn” for their Halloween costume, the daughter of Bilyonaryo Ricky Razon went old school and dug deep into her treasure chest of memorable and edgy movie characters.
Katrina Razon dressed up as “Mathilda”, the young orphan apprentice of a hitman in the 1994 French classic, “Leon” (“The Professional” when it was released in American theaters). An 11-year old Natalie Portman played the role of “Mathilda” but she was just the second choice of director Luc Besson who originally wanted Liv Tyler for the role ( Tyler was too old at 15).
Razon nailed the “Mathilda” look down to the smallest detail from the John Lennon frames to the green bomber jacket and the combat boots. She even had stuff toy although she could have added the potted plant that Mathilda replants at the end of the movie. But then again both her hands would be tied up for the party.
