JAZA, Fernando rally 40k employees on livestream

In an epic gathering through livestream broadcasted in all Ayala offices in the country, Ayala Corporation chairman and CEO Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala (JAZA) and president and COO Fernando Zobel de Ayala rallied all 40,000 employees toward the next chapter of the Ayala business narrative.

“As a business group with a presence across diverse industries, we are well-positioned to help address some of the country’s pressing developmental challenges. It is evident in the strategic direction that we have taken over the last five years. We diversified into sectors that are undergoing important social and economic transformation and are critical in sustaining our country’s economic progress,” JAZA emphasized.

His brother Fernando further elaborated on this strategy. “In recent years we have adopted a more imaginative approach in doing business and created platforms where social issues are integrated into and made central, not merely adjacent to business strategy. We pursued sectors with major gaps in capacity, accessibility, quality, and affordability that are critical for our countrymen,” Fernando said.

Fernando then announced the rebranding of their emerging business on these sectors which will be called the following “in order to take on a more unified energy: AC Energy, AC Infra, AC Health, AC Education and AC Industrial.

On Ayala Corporation’s twitter account, employees were also encouraged to post on social media regarding the event with the hashtag #AyalaCitizen. #
