MVP group to start work on NLEX-SLEX connector road
Metro Pacific’s Manila North Tollways Corp. has signed the concession agreement for the North Luzon-South Luzon connector road expressway project.
The agreement was signed by Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark A. Villar, representing the government, and MNTC president and CEO Rodrigo E. Franco.
The project aims to build, operate and maintain an 8-kilometer elevated toll expressway which will start at the junction of the North Luzon Expressway Segment 10 at C-3 in Caloocan City. and end in PUP Manila. It shall seamlessly connect to the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) through the Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 project in the city of Manila.
Estimated cost of the project is P23.2 billion, which will be funded by a combination of debt and internally generated funds.
