Robles-Santos group ramps up land banking outside Metro Manila
Sta. Lucia Land Inc. has acquired 53.66 hectares in key emerging cities across the country as part of continuing efforts to beef up its land bank for future developments.
In a statement, SLI said it purchased 31 properties located in Batangas, Laguna, Rizal, Quezon province, Baguio, Iloilo and Davao.
SLI has also sealed over 16 joint venture agreements totaling 97.28 hectares in Pasig City, Rizal, Batangas, Tagaytay City, Rizal, Nueva Ecija, Cebu, Iloilo and Davao.
This brings to a total of 4.736 million square meters of land acquisitions and 4.632 million square meters of joint venture agreements to date.
In the first nine months of the year, SLI reported a net income of P 534.1 million, up four percent year on year as revenues rose five percent to P2.37 billion. The stable growth in overall revenues is contributed by an increase in both real estate and rental operations of the group.
