Ayalas embark on more urban townships

Property giant Ayala Land Inc. is scaling up its presence nationwide with three new estates located in Davao, Cavite, and Quezon City planned for launch within the year.

ALI president Bernard Vincent Dy told reporters following the company’s annual stockholders meeting that the group was gearing up for the launch of the 250-hectare Evo City in Cavite, the 25-hectare Azuela Cove in Davao and the 35-hectare venture with the group of taipan Lucio Tan.

EVO City will be the first of its kind central business district in Kawit, Cavite that is well-positioned to become a significant growth center in the region. It will feature a balanced mix of high- to mid-rise commercial and institutional developments, as well as low-rise residential options.

Azuela Cove, on the other hand, is set to be transformed into a masterplanned, mixed-use community that will include residential low to mid-rise towers, commercial lots, offices, an events venue and a waterside cove with some retail components. It is a joint venture between ALI and the Alcantara Group’s Aviana Development Corp.

The planned township with Tan, on the other hand, is located along the C5 corridor spanning Pasig and Quezon City.
