MVP’s Cignal TV a tax evader, Valenzuela mayor says

Cignal TV is a public enemy in Valenzuela as ordered by the city hall.

Mayor Rexlon Gatchalian shut down outlets of bilyonaryo Manuel Pangilinan’s Cignal TV in the city after it was discovered that the cable service provider has been evading taxes.

Gatchalian took to Twitter his fury versus the MVP-owned brand, and even went as far as asking residents to boycott the service and switch to other providers.

The shame campaign continued to a second day, with Gatchalian pointing out local projects that could have been funded by the taxes which Cignal TV allegedly refused to pay.

How will MVP respond? Stay tuned.
