Tisha Bautista denies romantic affair with Alvin Lim: Blames Gaita Fores for spreading rumor on ex-BF

The estranged wife of Commission on Elections Chair Andy Bautista denied that a third party caused the split-up in their 17-year marriage.

In an interview with ANC’s Karen Davila, Tish Bautista said she was “not seeing someone else” as alluded to by her husband.

She said that her rumored lover, Alvin Lim, was just a “good friend” who worked together because they were both energy healers. Atty. Lorna Kapunan, Tish’s legal adviser, claimed that her client has a “third eye.”

Tish blamed her former friend and business partner and Alvin’s ex-girlfriend,cMargarita “Gaita” Fores who was a cousin of former Interior Secretary Mar Roxas.

“This is a rumor that was started by his (Lim’s) ex-girlfriend Margarita Fores four, five years ago and it’s still there. And I’ve never said anything because for me, what people think of me is not my business. It’s up to them, right? I’m not going to convince anybody,” she said.

Tish told Bautista to be “careful” and cautioned him not to go down the road of accusing her of infidelity.

“At the end of the day, if he wants to talk about infidelity, I would be very careful if I were him because I can defend whatever he throws at me. I don’t know if he can do the same. I have four children and I don’t want to go that route,” Tish said.

Tish claimed that their marriage started to crumble shortly after Bautista entered government first as head of the Presidential Commission on Good Government in 2010 and now as Comelec Chief. She said that Bautista had been secretive about the cash he has been getting from his work and that she wanted no part of the tainted money.
