Going, going gone: Dog dies on Philippine Airlines flight

A pet owner has slammed the Philippine Airlines after his dog died on a flight to Palawan.

Geo Ong has posted photos on Facebook showing his pitbull had turned stiff after suffering a heat stroke on a plane.

A video, meanwhile, showed Ong’s companion trying to revive the dog by splashing water on its face and body, to no avail.

Ong said PAL should have exercised extra caution in handling the animal.

“Fuck! Philippine Airlines!!! Alam niyo dapat ang priority niyo!! Lalo na sa mga gantong buhay na pa cargo sa inyo!!! Di niyo na mababalik ang buhay ng aso kahit anong gawin niyo, di katulad ng gamit pwdeng bilhin kahit magkano pa yan!!!” he said.

Can we get both sides of the story first? What was the dog’s cage in the airplane? Was the dog in a healthy condition prior to being loaded? It’s easy to put blame on the last point of contact, but be fair and investigate prior to pointing fingers.
