Sofia Elizalde bids goodbye to Steps studes
Saying goodbye is the hardest, says Sofia Zobel Elizalde.
As the founder of STEPS Dance Studio, the daughter of Don Jaime and Bea Zobel constantly has to bid farewell to students who are on to their next life chapter.
“Today I had to say goodbye to these three young gentlemen who are off to continue their dance careers in a big way.
Kevin Cascano, who has been with Steps for 5 years, is now off on a full scholarship to the Academy of the Performing Arts in Hong Kong.
Edmar and Benedict, students of Cherish Garcia at Academy One, and from Tuloy Foundation, also came to say goodbye. These boys touched me in a big way as they inspired my former student McCoy to create “Stepping Forward”. A special thank you to Pam and Jef who also played a very big role in the coaching and training of these three young and talented gentlemen.
I wish you all the very best in your new lives boys, I know you will make us all proud! It’s hard to say goodbye but also so fulfilling to see you succeed! God bless always! ️” Sofia said.
God bless you too Sofia for changing so many lives through Steps!
