DPWH studying NAIA Expressway extension

The Department of Public Works and Highways is considering extending the existing NAIA Expressway to Bonifacio Global City and Paranaque City.

DPWH Secretary Mark Villar said San Miguel Corp. would build the extension of the NAIA Expressway to BGC and Paranaque.

The Naia Expressway project, which was awarded to San Miguel is a four-lane, 7.75-kilometer elevated expressway and 2.22-kilometer at-grade road traversing Sales Avenue, Andrews Avenue, Parañaque River, MIAA Road and Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard.

It reduces the average travel time between Skyway/SLEx and NAIA Terminal 1 from about 24.3 minutes to 8.2 minutes. It also benefits80,000 travelers a day.
