NLEX to double revenues by 2022
NLEX Corp. sees its topline growing two-fold by 2022, driven by existing and new tollroad projects.
The operator of North Luzon Expressway and Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway expects revenues to hit P24.1 billion in five years from the projected P11.7 billion by yearend.
Core earnings are forecast to grow to P9.68 billion by 2022 from the expected P4.7 billion this year.
“The driver would be the growth of the existent assets and eventually we will have new projects that would be completed in the next five years,” said NLEX president Rodrigo Franco.
The company will be shelling out P29.43 billion from 2018 to 2020 for the construction of the NLEX Segment 10, NLEX-SLEX connector road, and the Subic Freeport Expressway.
In the first half, NLEX reported a 15 percent growth in net income to P2.3 billion.
