Bank of Makati gives 1 more month for clients to replace old cards

There’s a fresh reprieve for depositors.

Bank of Makati has given more time for clients to come to their branches and get replacement cards that carry the more secure microchip technology.

The thrift bank announced that card holders have until Sept. 30, 2017 to go to a branch and have their cards replaced. Failure to do so will render the magnetic strip-based cards unusable until replaced with the new ones.
