PBCom taps ex-BanCom exec as new compliance officer
This bank is beefing up its game.
The Philippine Bank of Communications (PBCOM) has named Ma. Salome Viloria-Panzo as its new chief compliance officer effective Sept. 1, 2017, the bank told the Philippine Stock Exchange. She will be in charge of overseeing and implementing the bank’s rules and procedures to deter illegal money transactions.
Panzo is given a rank of first vice president and head of PBCOM’s Compliance Group. Prior to joining the bank partly owned by bilyonaryo Lucio Co, she was head of the compliance unit of Ramon Ang’s Bank of Commerce.
