Gov’t allots P500M to expand NAIA terminal 2
The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) plans to spend about P500 million to ramp up the capacity of terminal 2 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
“Actually it’s (referring to the rehabilitation) in the process of detailed engineering construction,” said MIAA general manager Eddie Montreal.
“It might augment the capacity because we are planing to extend the space right in front,” he added.
Montreal expects to complete the rehabilitation of NAIA2 next year.
Taipan Lucio Tan’s Philippine Airlines operates domestic and international flights in NAIA 2.
