Metrobank adds 1 more month for card replacement
It’s their last call to get all depositors to come and claim their new cards.
Customers of Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company (Metrobank) have been given an extra month to come and claim their microchip-embedded bank cards.
The bank owned by bilyonaryo George Ty said debit and credit card holders now have until Nov. 15, 2017 to get their cards replaced, later than the Oct. 15 deadline earlier set.
By mid-November, those who failed to get their cards switched will be forced to come to Metrobank branches as their old magnetic stripe cards will be deactivated.
