China Bank celebrates 90 years as listed company
It’s among the country’s ancients.
China Banking Corporation has been on the trading floor for so long. The bank now owned by bilyonaryo Henry Sy recently celebrated its 90th year as a listed company which dates back to 1927 under the old Manila Stock Exchange, Inc.
This makes the bank as among the first-ever listed companies in the country, as it went public in just seven years following its creation in 1920.
Now, the bank’s market capitalization has reached a whopping P89.2 billion.
