It was nothing short of an epic culinary experience for Margarita Fores. Her culinary team collaborated with the team of Chef Hiroyasu Kawate who owns the world-renowned Florilege. From the Tsukiji market seafood shopping to the remarkable dinner and fun post-dinner drinks, the granddaughter of industrialist J. Amado Araneta could not help but be amazed.
“On our 2nd night in Tokyo we were blessed with the purist @restaurant_florilege Florlège dining experience. It started with this sweet potato wonder with another root crop coating, next was Karasumi or preserved mullet roe on creamed turnip and sliced green beans, beautiful in-season Samma fish rolled with myoga Ginger, beautiful flowers during my bathroom break, amazing Smoked mushroom with ALBA truffles and a Japanese cheese, @hiroyasu_kawate ‘s iconic beef jerky, this Crazy fried oyster with dried leeks and Lemon meringue, then that iconic Guinea fowl !
