Cher Tiu continues to explore Slovenian sumptuous food and wine


Only Cheryl Tiu can have rich food and wine adventures such as these.

From trying out veal liver with chanterelles and fresh herbs at Ljubjlana market to drinking wine in the middle of the magnificent Soča river, the daughter of Highlands co-founder Jerry Tiu is definitely enjoying her fab Slovenian culinary experience.

I first saw the stunning, emerald green Soča River on Netflix’s “Chef’s Table” and it was beyond incredible being there in real life! 💖💖💖Hisa Franko (@hisafranko) sommelier @alenaudic so kindly gave me a tour, leading up to the amazing Kozjak waterfalls– and in true sommelier fashion, not without a bottle of Slovenian wine!👌🤗 For sure one of the coolest places I’ve ever had wine– it was priceless maneuvering around the boulders, glass of wine on hand, trying not to fall and die!😅😅😅 #slovenia #wine #adventure#cheryltiutravels #cheryltiuslovenia” @chertiu said on her Instagram.
