Mariana Zobel to uphold Ayala legacy of nation-building
The eldest daughter of Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala and philanthropist Elizabeth Eder is definitely as the saying goes “a chip of the old block.”
Named as one of Town & Country’s “Manila’s Modern Swans,” the accomplished Mariana Zobel de Ayala wants to use her leadership role as the general manager of Ayala Malls the 30th, to instill the Ayala family’s work values of “integrity, honesty and transparency” as well as life lessons like “hard work, grit and diligence trump all, including intelligence.”
“The Ayala Group has done an amazing job of building multi-use communities, integrating arts and culture into spaces, and lifting the standards of “livability” for our cities, and I’d like to help continue that. Ayala has always looked to align its business goals with the development goals of the nation. I hope to contribute to that legacy, and in a small way, be able to support the growth of the nation,” said Mariana according to the magazine feature.
Bravo, Mariana. You are making daddy JAZA very proud.
