Breathing new life into Balintawak: Ayala Malls Cloverleaf opens doors for business

Ayala Land Inc. opened its newest mall in Balintawak, Quezon City, binging a new-found vibrancy to the area.

Housing more than 150 shops and dining outlets, the Ayala Malls Cloverleaf will be part of a P25 billion, 11-hectare integrated mixed-use development that will feature office buildings, residential towers, and a medical center.

The mall, which is targeted at capturing the young and hip market, is already 100 percent leased with 81 percent of the tenants expected to move in shortly, BusinessWorld reported.

Located on the site of the former Central Textile Mills, Cloverleaf is located along Edsa and A. Bonifacio and is accessible via the the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1), and just 20 meters away from the Skyway Stage 3 project or the end of the NLEX-SLEX connector road project.

The retail complex will serve the Caloocan, Malabon and Valenzuela markets.

For the residential component, about 2,000 units will be offered to the public under the group’s Avida brand. The project is targeted for completion in 2019.
