GMA claims nationwide TV ratings lead in October


GMA Network Inc. claimed dominance in TV ratings for the month of October.

Based on data from Nielsen Phils. TV Audience Measurement, GMA captured a nationwide audience share of 41.7 percent from Oct.1 to 28 versus ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp.’s 38.1 percent.

The network owned by the Gozon-Duavit-Jimenez triumvirate ruled across all day parts in NUTAM. In the morning block, GMA logged a 38.5 percent audience share against ABS-CBN’s 35.9 percent.

In the afternoon segment GMA regi45.4 percent versus ABS-CBN’s 375 percent

In the evening block, GMA accounted fora 40.2 percent market share versus competition’s 39.4 percent.

Nielsen data is gathered through a greater number of sampled homes nationwide in comparison to Kantar Media.
