Cebu Pacific adds more flights to HK

The country’s leading budget carrier Cebu Pacific is increasing the frequency of its Manila to Hong Kong route in time for the holiday season.

Gokongwei-led Cebu Pacific lodged an application with the Civil Aviation Bureau for additional seat entitlements to Hong Kong.

The memorandum of understanding signed between the Philippines and Hong Kong in 2014 doubled the capacity to 30,000 seats per week to carriers flying to Hong Kong.

The agreement also covered unlimited capacity in all international airports in the Philippines outside of Manila.

Cebu Pacific currently operates seven flights daily to Hong Kong from Manila, Cebu, Clark and Iloilo.
