BDO payroll clients to get new EMV cards by December

 

Offices using BDO Unibank for their payroll accounts will be the last to receive replacement notices.

The bank owned by bilyonaryo Henry Sy has announced that corporate and payroll clients will be receiving the card replacement into the EMV chip-based ones will be replaced before the year ends.

In a statement, BDO said payroll clients will be receiving their new cards through their Human Resource offices in their respective companies, rather than needing to come to bank branches to claim the replacement.

Card replacement started in 2016. All BDO automated teller machines have been retrofit to accommodate EMV microchip readers.
