Christian Gonzalez loads up on Bloomberry shares
Bloomberry Resorts Corp. shares have fallen in the past two weeks but an official of the listed gaming firm showed confidence in the stock by adding shares to his portfolio.
In a stock exchange filing, Bloomberry said one of its directors, Christian Gonzalez acquired a total of 5.63 million shares, representing .05 percent of the gaming company, at a price ranging from P9.28 to P9.83 each share.
The shares were purchased on Oct. 25 to 26 in 24 transactions.
Gonzalez, a nephew of ports tycoon Enrique Razon, is senior vice president and regional head of Asia Pacific & MICT at International Container Terminal Services.
Bloomberry, the operator of Solaire Resort & Casino, is on track for a record-breaking year on strong gaming revenues.
It saw its net income surge 21-fold to P4.11 billion in the first half, largely due to the influx of Chinese tourists to the Philippines.
