Stay humble and kind, RSA tells winning Ginebra team

Bilyonaryo Ramon S. Ang reminded Ginebra players of the importance of humility just a few days after the country’s most popular ball club won the 2017 Governors Cup Finals.

Ang, who was present during the Gin Kings’ two victory parties, urged the team to keep its feet on the ground after winning the Governors Cup title for two straight years.

“Ang laban na ‘to ay gitgitan. Sana po maging humble tayo at ‘wag ho tayong magyabang at baka hindi na tayo bigyan ng Diyos ng biyaya,” said Ang in addressing the crowd during the victory bash held at San Miguel Corp.’s headquarters in Mandaluyong City Monday night.

“Para sa mga kasama ko, please be humble and be nice to everybody. This is just basketball and this is just entertainment for our countrymen,” Ang added.

Fans of Ginebra had been treated to one of the most memorable championship series in PBA history with Ginebra defeating Meralco in a best of seven playoff.
