MVP Group eyes more business opportunities in Indonesia

 

Metro Pacific Investments Corp. is exploring investment opportunities in Indonesia for its other businesses.

The company recently increased its stake in PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk, a Jakarta-based comoany which has interests in tollroads, port operations, water, energy and telecommunications, to 47.08 percent.

“We will look at other potential business deals with PT Nusantara.. If there’s an opportunity for instance in the water sector we will ask our sister company to look at it,” said Rodrigo Franco, president of Metro Pacific Tollways Corp.

Through its involvement in toll roads, water, energy, port operations and telecommunications, PT Nusantara provides services to more than 103 million customers, 550,000 households, 103 million vehicles, more than 210 vessels, and connecting millions of people through communications.
