It’s business as usual for banks despite ASEAN Summit holiday

Bank branches will remain open over the Nov. 13-15 work suspension.

In a statement, the Bankers Association of the Philippines said its members will stay open over the hosting of the 31st ASEAN Summit despite the work suspension.

“The Bankers Association of the Philippines would like to inform the public that member banks will remain fully operational during the 31st ASEAN Summit covering the period November 13-15, 2017,” the group said in a statement.

However, the banks said that depositors need to make sure that they check the schedules and advisories of their respective banks for those located in Metro Manila, Pampanga, and Bulacan during the period.
