Security Bank allows new accounts with just P5,000 and 1 ID

It’s even easier to get a bank account now.

Security Bank Corporation has simplified its requirements to open a savings account. To be a depositor, one only needs to bring at least P5,000 and one government-issued identification card to a Security Bank branch.

Upon presenting these requirements, one can quickly avail of the easy account option that has a P5,000 maintaining balance as well.

Is that simple enough for more Pinoys to get their own bank account?
