Regina Belmonte shares senti message to ex
Our favorite millennial may have finally achieved her much needed “closure.”
The daughter of Philippine Star president Miguel Belmonte and Milette Francia gave a touching farewell to her ex on Instagram.
It’s a year to the day since I last saw you — really saw you, when I said goodbye to you at the airport — for what I never thought would be the last time, and I can honestly, finally say that I hope you’re happy and living your best life, because I really do. I know I am. I was angry for a long while, but it’s exhausting to be that person, and I don’t want to be that person any longer. I’m sorry about how badly things turned out between us. But I will never be sorry for how things turned out in the end, because life has, surprisingly, been more wonderful than I ever could have expected or imagined since then.
There is a part of me — a small one — that will always love the small part of you that I knew, and that’s not a bad thing. Thank you for our whirlwind summer romance. It taught me how to fall in love. And I have done exactly that, with myself and with my life. And if I should fall in love with another person again in the future, I know I’ll be ready, mentally and emotionally, for it to be for a summer that will never end. Just like the one I’m living now.
Thanks for being a part of my story. Be well, drink lots of wine, and keep dancing.
P.S. I would like my Sandman books back though…” @vivatregina said.
Now that’s moving on! Bravo, Regina! #
