Philippine Daily Inquirer buyout a done deal – RSA

“It’s a done deal,” said bilyonaryo Ramon S. Ang when asked about his planned purchase of the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

Ang did not divulge details of the deal.

He said it was only just a matter of time for the transaction to be completed.

Ang said they are in the process of completing documents for regulatory filing.

The Prieto family announced last July it was selling its 85 percent stake in the Inquirer Group of Companies, which include tabloid newspapers and a radio station, to Ang.
