Newly weds Michael Manotoc and Cara Managlapus donate P 1. 3M cash gift for Marawi rehabilitation

Newly married couple Atty. Michael Ferdinand Marcos Manotoc and Carina Amelia Manglapus collected the hefty sum during their “pabitor” or couple’s dance.

The grandchildren of former president Ferdinand Marcos and former senator Raul Manglapus not only ended the decades-long political rivalry between their two clans as they joined hearts. They also kept in mind the need to contribute to help Marawi City get back on its feet again.

“We give thanks to Ilocos for blessing us with the opportunity to give over P1.3M (and counting) from our traditional “pabitor” dance to our brothers and sisters in Marawi. 🇵🇭 #mikegotcaradaway #hippolyeverafter (📷 @iansantillanphoto)” @caramanglapus said.

Thank you and congratulations, Mike and Cara! #
