Class act: Danding gives 14k trophy to MVP after Archers bow to Blue Eagles in classic Finals
Bilyonaryo Danding Cojuanco had a special trophy made for the champions of UAAP 80 seniors basketball men’s finals.
Too bad, his beloved De La Salle University Green Archers are not keeping it in their trophy room.
Cojuangco gave the trophy to the Ateneo Blue Eagles as a show of sportsmanship and in recognition of their 2-1 win over the Ben Mbala-powered Taft hoopsters which his busines rival, bilyonaryo Manny V. Pangilinan, considered his most “special.”
Congrats to the Ateneo Blue Eagles 🦅 for winning the Ambassador Eduardo Cojuangco, Jr. GOLD Trophy 🏆 crafted by Suarez & Sons Inc. We are humbled to have been chosen as the manufacturer of this prestigious award by Amb. Danding Cojuangco, Chairman SMC. https://t.co/QaX44MdiNr pic.twitter.com/aUiXa4ioiW

I saw this trophy being held by the Danding Group last Sunday before it was handed over to Ateneo post-Game 3. -> pic.twitter.com/LWcDWUv0Br

Cojuangco was seen on TV shaking the hand of Pangilinan in the middle of the confetti-covered hardcourt of the Aranete Coliseum. Cojuangco, who sat on the bench of the Archers throughout the season, waited on the floor to personally congratulate his boys; conqueror.
