Cosiquien-Saavedra group, Reghis Romero among 7 vying for Clark Airport redevelopment

 

Seven groups led by Megawide Corp. and businessman Reghis Romero have submitted bid documents for the construction of the P12.5 billion Clark International Airport.

The five other firms include China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd., China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd., DDT Konstract, and Tokwing Construction Corp.

Opening of technical bids is Dec. 7 while the awarding of the engineering, procurement and construction contract is on Dec. 15.

Construction of the airport is expected to be completed by 2020.

The Clark International Airport is set to be an alternate international gateway in the country.
