Cebu Landmasters targets millenials with Ascott-run serviced apartment
Soberano family-led Cebu Landmasters Inc. is set to introduce a hip and modern 153-room serviced residence catering to the millennial market in Cebu City.
In a statement, CLI said it signed its third management agreement with The Ascott Limited for “lyf Cebu City”, a new brand designed for the growing millennial and millennial-minded travellers.
The project will bring CLI’s hotel portfolio to around 600 rooms in four years.
CLI said “lyf Cebu City” would have ‘connect’ communal spaces, co-working areas that can be easily transformed into zones for workshops or social gatherings.
The residence will offer a range of apartment designs from 16 to 60 square meters.
A recent study by the Department of Tourism shows that Cebu-Mactan will have a room gap of 14,931 by 2022. Already the most visited destination in the Philippines, Cebu is expected to receive more visitors in 2018 and beyond with the completion of the Mactan Cebu International Airport.
Cebu welcomed 4.17 million travelers last year, up 25 percent year on year.
