PNB back in business in Marawi
They are the first bank to restore operations in the battlefield.
The Philippine National Bank (PNB) has returned to daily operations in Marawi as early as Oct. 24, or shortly after the government declared the liberation of the city from Maute terrorists.
In a statement, bilyonaryo Lucio Tan’s bank said they have restored services at their branch located inside the Mindanao State University (MSU) campus.
However, PNB currently works in shortened hours from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Still, it’s a start.
