SSS now owns 5.17% of Megawide

 

The Social Security System has acquired a 5.17 percent stake in Megawide Construction Corp.

The state pension fund has formally informed securities regulators that it now owns o 110.53 million shares in Megawide.

SSS acquired bulk of the shares from Megawide Corp. chairman Edgar Saavedra.

Megawide earlier disclosed it has given SSS a board representation in its seven-member board.

It is one of the country’s leading engineering and infrastructure developers with a portfolio in engineering procurement construction, airport infrastructure, progressive property development and renewable energy.
