PLDT, Globe extend prepaid load validity
Telecommunication giants PLDT Inc. and Globe Telecom will comply with the government’s directive to extend the validity period of mobile prepaid credit to one year.
Both companies are extending the expiry of all prepaid load worth P300 and above to one year.
They also welcomed the government’s latest directive deferring the implementation of the one-year load expiration for prepaid load below P300 for six months.
Ramon Isberto, spokesperson of Smart, said the six-month extension would give the company more time to implement the extensive reconfiguration of its IT and other support services.
Globe general counsel Froilan Castelo said the extension would give the company ample time to prepare for the smooth and seamless implementation of the expiration change across all denominations.
