2018 seen as banner year for Lendr

They are looking to double the loans approved under the digital platform.

Smart’s FINTQ sees rosy growth for its financial services offered via digital means, with the numbers expected to grow even faster in 2018.

In a statement, the digital financial firm owned by bilyonaryo Manuel V. Pangilinan said they see another record year for the three-year-old startup.

“For 2018, we are confident that with the deployment of a number of our Lendr partners, we will keep our double-digit growth and could even double last year’s performance,” FINTQ Managing Director Lito Villanueva said.

New partners that will add to the 70 banks and financial firms on their list would also help boost overall traffic, coupled with plans to offer services abroad.

“2018 will be a banner year for FINTQ as we are going beyond lending,” Villanueva added.

Total loans disbursed via the Lendr app reached over P12 billion in 2017, up by a third from the previous year.
