Anchor Land to build 3,000-bed space facility

Anchor Land unveiled its maiden bed spacing project, Cosmo Suites, as part of its strategy to diversify revenue streams.

Located in Pasay City, the two 16-storey tower will make available 800 units with around 3,000 beds. Each unit comes with at least four beds priced at 25 percent of average BPO employees.

Anchor Land will offer affordable, yet high quality bed spaces to young employees who are looking for a weekday home alternative due to the worsening traffic in Metro Manila.

“Cosmo Suites aims to help improve the quality of life of employees. It becomes their halfway home near their workplace, allowing them to spend their time on more productive activities instead of being stuck in traffic for around three to four hours,” said Steven Li, CEO of Anchor Land.

The project is situated near the Bay City which is seen as the next hub for the BPO industry.

Unlike the usual dormitory and bed spacing, Cosmo Suites will have round-the-clock security and CCTVs and high- end amenities such as a 20-m lap pool, fitness gym, knockdown basketball court, open lounge area, deck seating area, a garden deck and a food hall that offers affordable meals.

Anchor Land’s entry into the dormitory business support its goal of increasing its recurring income to 20% of its overall revenue by 2020.

The company plans to build around 10,000 beds in the next three years.
