Globe makes broadband plans ‘unlimited’

Ayala-led Globe Telecoms has brought back the unlimited broadband plans albeit at a slightly higher price.

This means Globe Home subscribers can use their connection to stream or download to their heart’s content, whatever plan they subscribe to, at least for now.

“Unlimited Broadband Internet service is back! With Globe At Home Go Unli Plans, stream all the HD movies you want without data cap,” Globe said.

The Go Unli broadband plan starts at P1,699 a month for speeds of up to 5 Mbps. Other plans include P1,899 for speeds of 10 to 20 Mbps, P2,499 for speeds of up to 50 Mbps, and P2,899 for speeds of up to 100 Mbps.

The plans come with a free landline, unlimited calls to Globe and TM for 24 months and free access to Netflix and Disney channel apps for six months and HOOQ for two months.

What’s even better is the plans come without the standard 24-months lock-up period. You can disconnect from the service whenever you want.
