BDO paying clients who reported unauthorized withdrawals

 

This bank is shouldering the amounts stolen from their depositors.

BDO Unibank, Inc. said they have started reverting account deposits of customers who have reported that they lost money through withdrawals and purchases done without their knowledge.

“For accounts affected recently, we have been crediting back the amounts found to be unauthorized transactions,” the biggest Philippine bank said via Facebook.

The announcement comes weeks after BDO acknowledged that more clients have come forward to complain of unauthorized withdrawals done through their accounts.
