Here’s what you should do if ATM didn’t dispense cash

The central bank lists the details to remember if this situation ever comes.

Have you ever encountered an automated teller machine (ATM) which didn’t release your withdrawn money?

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said this is what you should do:

1. Take note of the date, time, and location of the failed withdrawal.

2. Keep a copy of the transaction receipt. It’s best to take a picture or have a scanned copy as the receipt fades.

3. Report the incident to your bank’s hotline.

Clients can also lodge a complaint with the BSP if the bank did not respond to address the incident.
