Security Bank taps millennials to design IT network
This bank responded to their clients’ needs straight from their generation’s skills.
Security Bank Corp. said it has overhauled its entire information technology (IT) network to respond to the “digital drive” and improve customer experience.
In fact, the bank went as far as getting millennials to craft the new design to make sure that these are what the new clients want and need.
“The bank has revamped its entire IT network, including the customer-facing front-end which was redesigned by a group of millennials hired for the purpose,” bank president Alfonso Salcedo, Jr. said in a statement.
“We design our digital solutions in such a way that they will cater to the needs of both older- generation clients who prefer to transact over-the-counter and the younger-generation clients who prefer to transact online,” he said.
As digital banking is now the name of the game, this lender wants to take the lead.
