RCBC Savings commends branch guard who returned client’s cash
The bank said they are lucky to have him on their team.
RCBC Savings Bank shared an inspiring story of honesty which occurred in the company.
The thrift bank proudly recounted the story of Roldan Dayot, head guard of the bank’s branch in Las Piñas.
The man returned an envelope of cash left by a customer which was discovered to carry P200,000. Dayot spotted the envelope by the transaction slips rack, with his instinct telling him that it was money accidentally left by a client.
The money was returned on the same day after the owner went back to the branch looking for it.
“We are very fortunate to have a team of honest and hardworking security guards like Dayot, who not only just looks after the bank, but our client’s welfare as well with integrity,” RCBC Savings Bank President and CEO Rommel Latinazo said in a statement.
For his admirable honesty, Dayot will also receive accolades from Bank Security Management Association and the Philippine National Police.
