China’s ICBC bank to open PH branch
The world’s biggest bank is headed to Manila.
The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) will be opening its first branch in Manila, the Philippine Star said in a report.
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas has reportedly approved its application to open a bank branch here.
ICBC is the biggest bank in China and in the world, with total assets at a whopping $3.47 trillion.
This is the 12th foreign bank to open in the country since 2014.
