PAGCOR donates P3.6M to Metro Manila cops
These cops will have new toys to train in.
The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) went to donate P3.6 million as financial aid to the Philippine National Police (PNP)-National Capital Region Police Office.
In a statement, PAGCOR said their donation will boost anti-crime efforts around Metro Manila, with the donation to be used by the police force to acquire new motorcycles for patrol training.
Police Director Oscar Albayalde accepted the donation from PAGCOR Chairman Andrea Domingo, which will be used for the Motorcycle Riding Course given to PNP personnel.
Before this, the cops had to borrow big bikes from the Highway Patrol Group, which prolongs the training period.
Albayalde said the new motorbikes will be used for VIP security convoy and for Oplan Sita along Metro Manila’s roads.
